“ Picture this, you wake up on the beach, see an absolutely spectacular sunrise, then on your way back home you stop by this diner and get transported back to a retro diner, the food was spectacular, I got a classic breakfast of toast, eggs, sausage, and potatoes and it was the epitome of a great small town breakfast, everything was cooked to perfection and tasted amazing. These days it feels almost impossible to find a reasonably priced, enjoyable breakfast, and for those who feel this let me assure you Mom's Cafe is a beacon of light, my entire breakfast including coffee and a tip came in under 20. I left feeling full and satisfied, Mom's Cafe will definitely be a stop every time I'm passing through Sooke from now on. ”

“ Who would have thought this cafe would be good?? I never expected the food to be food especially Korean fried chicken with sweet chili sauce. I had some excellent Korean fried chicken but this is on par with some I ha tried. The chicken is both crispy and sauce has enough sweetest to coat the chicken that I want more. In fact you want to buy another basket. I tried a bit of the Jalapeno clam chowder (soup of the day), fish and chips from my Brothers, they were good. I ordered BBQ beef steak burger. It is also good as well. The milkshake is also good. But too bad chocolate and chocolate mint flavour sold out but next time I will order them whenever I visit Sookepoint. I will come back to Mom's Cafe! ”

“ I dropped by the cafe and had a lunch with my family. Staffs are friendly and all the dishes are amazing. Crispy chicken burger is one of my favourite and bailey chocolate milkshake is delightful. I live far from Sooke but will definitely visit there for food. Highly recommend this place. ”
